This Earnings Disclaimer applies to The Weekend Home Project (the "Site"), operated by Creative Cottage, LLC ("we," "us," or "our").
The Site is a for profit business. We may earn money through affiliate commissions when you buy products through links on the Site, through advertising, through sponsored content that is clearly labeled, and through any digital products or resources we may offer. This helps us keep creating free project ideas and guides.
We sometimes share ideas for saving money, adding value to your home, or getting more from your garden. Any examples of costs, savings, time estimates, harvest sizes, resale value or similar outcomes are illustrations only. They are not promises or guarantees. Your results will depend on many factors, including your skills, the condition of your home, local prices, the materials you choose, weather, and the time and effort you put in.
If we ever discuss businesses, side projects, selling handmade items, or other ways people earn money, nothing on the Site is a promise or guarantee that you will earn any money. Any earnings or results mentioned are not typical and should not be treated as an expectation of what you will earn. Most people who start a new venture earn little or nothing, especially at first. Building any income takes work, time and consistency.
You are responsible for your own decisions and results. Before spending money on tools, materials, products or programs, consider your own budget and circumstances and, where appropriate, talk with a qualified professional such as a contractor, accountant or financial advisor. We are not financial, legal or tax advisors.
Any statements on the Site about future savings, value or earnings are our opinions and expectations. They involve uncertainty and may not turn out to be accurate.
